The idea was born, due to our wish to work together with professionals, to cover an increasing demand for arrangements where the general impression for future arrangements remains positive for the organizer as well as his guests.
Charlottenlund Service Rentals was established in the middle of 1990 by two Royal ballet dancers; Ib Jeppesen and Torben Flint Jeppesen. The idea was created after they both had read the same article in Berlingske Tidende, about a lady who sold genuine Beduintents.
As there was to be held both a wedding and a birthday celebration, it was obvious – the first Beduintent was bought and a new niche oriental tent rental service saw daylight.
Already the following year an additional tent was bought, floors manufactured, and today the firm has more than 1200 m2 tents distributed between 5 different tent sizes.During the next couple of years the firm extended with quality service (tableware), tables and chairs as well as having cooperation with acknowledged catering companies.
After more than 10 years the two founders of the company chose to sell the whole business to the previous IT director and co-founder of NetDesign A/S. AT the same time the company name was changed to Charlottenlund Udlejning ApS
